Noah Ismael Wyss investigates material relationships and power structures through sculpture and installation; questioning humanity’s position within broader ecological, social and technological systems.

Wyss utilizes mostly two opposing visual languages: the primeval elements to context- ualise social and technological developments, and science fiction, as a framework for speculative storytelling to create alternative visions of social and technological futures while disrupting normative categories.

In installativen und skulpturalen Arbeiten untersucht Noah Ismael Wyss materielle Beziehungen und Machtstrukturen und stellt die Position des Menschen innerhalb weitfassender ökologischer und technologischer Systeme zur Disposition.

Wyss arbeitet mit archaischen Elementen, um zeitgenössische soziale und technologische Bedingungen zu reflektieren. Science-Fiction dient dabei als spekulativer Rahmen, um normative Kategorien zu hinterfragen und alternative Zukünfte zu entwerfen.
