„Like in an artificial womb, the high performer lies there, behind glass, with their back to the viewer. Turned away from the world, fleeing from life and its consequences. They want to use their time as efficiently as possible and have as much of it as they possibly can. They have quantified the Blue Zones, broken them down into fractions in order to consume them between meetings and phone calls; so they have to leave their homes as rarely as possible.“
The installation consists of a container with a person inside, lying on soft padding. Layered sounds can be heard: a compilation of motivational speeches, business manifestations and spa music. The container is connected to three stone slabs and a console made of soapstone. In front of it, carelessly discarded and scattered on the floor: a dress shirt, a tank top, and a pair of suit trousers. Also, a small staircase which seemingly allows access.
To live in the future to forget about the present.

„Wie in einem künstlichen Mutterleib liegt der High-Performer dort, hinter Glas, mit dem Rücken zum Betrachter. Der Welt abgewandt, auf der Flucht vor dem Leben und seinen Konsequenzen. Er will seine Zeit so effizient wie möglich nutzen und so viel davon haben, wie er nur kann. Er hat die Blauen Zonen quantifiziert, sie in ihre Bruchteile zerlegt, um sie zwischen Meetings und Telefonaten konsumieren zu können; dass er sein Zuhause so selten wie möglich verlassen muss.“
Die Installation besteht aus einem Container, in dem eine Person auf weicher Polsterung liegt. Es sind überlagerte Audiospuren zu hören: ein Zusammenschnitt aus Motivationsreden, Manifestationen für ein erfolgreiches Geschäftsleben und Wellnessmusik. Der Container ist mit drei Steinplatten und einer Konsole aus Speckstein verbunden. Davor liegen achtlos vom Körper gestreift und auf dem Boden verstreut: ein Hemd, ein Tanktop und eine Anzughose. Der Zugang zum Container scheint über eine kleine Treppe zu erfolgen.
In der Zukunft zu leben, um die Gegenwart zu vergessen.
